Doc Ackerman's Botanical Citronella Pet Shampoo is designed to provide a highly effective, all natural alternative to chemical laden products. This product is produced with materials and processes chosen to help preserve natural resources, control pollution, conserve energy, reduce solid waste, and promote non-toxic products for our animal friends. Contains no pesticides.
Doc Ackerman’s Citronella products are excellent, non-chemical formulas that offer superior alternatives to traditional methods.
Citronella – Used for centuries—in many forms—for repelling pests.
Eucalyptus – another oil that pests find unappetizing, eucalyptus is also soothing to the skin and works as a deodorant.
Pennyroyal – this oil has a pleasing aroma—except to fleas and ticks.  It also has medicinal properties that make it excellent for skin rashes and itching.
Pine Oil – serves as another repellent to bugs.
Aloe Vera Juice – a medicinal herb, Aloe Vera is soothing to the skin and is an irritant to fleas and ticks.
