We are pleased to offer this lovely handled tidbit tray manufactured by Merrie England. The back is marked with a blue circle with stems and flowers inside with the word "MERRIE England" and "Bone China Made in England". This pattern was also used on a two-tiered tidbit server.
This scalloped server, with 22k gold trim,
features a multicolored floral and bird design. Exotic flowers surround
a gorgeous bird of paradise on a branch. The rim has
alternating flower patterns in
many shades of pink, blue, yellow, green, and a bit of red mixed in. It is very reminiscent of the Pembroke pattern by Aynsley.
It measures 8" in diameter and was most likely made from a salad plate.  Other than a teeny wear spot low on
the gold toned center handle (extremely minor); it i
s in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks.  Just a lovely Merrie England center handled tidbit tray t
hat you are sure to want to add to your English bone china collection.
